From sun-drenched farms to your morning cup — discover the story behind every single-origin bean we lovingly craft at Roast & Co.
It started with a secondhand roaster, a two-car garage, and an obsession that bordered on madness. In the spring of 2014, founder Marcus Webb began sourcing single-origin beans directly from small farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Guatemala — convinced that the world deserved coffee that tasted exactly like where it came from.
Every weekend, Marcus would roast batch after batch, tweaking temperatures by single degrees, chasing the perfect expression of each bean's terroir. Friends became taste-testers. Taste-testers became regulars. Regulars became the first customers of what would eventually become Roast & Co.
Today, we still roast in small batches, still source directly from the farmers we trust, and still believe that great coffee is never an accident — it's a craft. That garage spirit lives in every bag we ship.

What We Stand For
Everything we do at Roast & Co is guided by three principles that shape how we source, roast, and share our coffee.
We share the full story of every bean — from the farm it was grown on to the hands that harvested it. You deserve to know exactly what's in your cup and where it came from.
Our sourcing practices prioritize environmental stewardship and fair compensation for farming communities. Every purchase supports a supply chain built to last for generations.
Roasting is both a science and an art, and we obsess over every variable to unlock each coffee's peak potential. Small-batch precision means no two roasts are ever treated the same.
Every step of our journey is guided by an obsession with quality — from the hillside farms where we source our beans to the final cup you hold in your hands.
We travel directly to high-altitude farms across Ethiopia, Colombia, and Guatemala, building lasting relationships with smallholder farmers who share our commitment to quality.
Every lot is hand-sorted and graded. Our team evaluates moisture content, density, and visual defects to ensure only the finest green beans make it to our roastery.
Using our vintage drum roasters, we roast in batches of 15kg or less. Each profile is crafted by hand, coaxing out the unique character of every origin with precision and care.
Before any bag leaves our roastery, our Q-graders conduct a formal cupping session — evaluating aroma, acidity, body, and finish to ensure every roast meets our exacting standards.

We are a small, passionate crew united by a single belief: exceptional coffee starts with exceptional people — from the farm to the roastery to your cup.
Clara spent a decade travelling through coffee-growing regions before founding the company in 2014. Her obsession with traceability and flavour transparency shapes every decision we make.
With fifteen years behind the drum, Marcus coaxes the best out of every green bean. He approaches roasting as a craft — equal parts science, intuition, and relentless curiosity.
Priya builds long-term relationships with smallholder farmers across Ethiopia, Colombia, and Indonesia. She ensures every origin we list meets our ethical and quality standards.
